# Confirmations & reminders

> Control the confirmation message guests get when they register for a Regplus event, and the reminders that go out before the event.

**In short:** These are the automatic messages guests get — a confirmation when they sign up, and reminders before the event.

## The confirmation message

When someone registers, Regplus sends them a confirmation with their ticket or registration details. From **Communications**, you can edit what it says and add your own note.

## Reminders before the event

Turn on reminders so guests get a nudge before the event day, with the date, time and venue. This helps more of them actually turn up.

> Keep your event date and venue up to date in **Event Details**. Reminders use those details, so wrong details go out to every guest.
